# Users Roles and Security

| Role                    | Typical permissions                                                |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Super administrator     | All settings, users, billing                                       |
| Technical administrator | ASP configuration, certificates, URLs, IP allow-lists, API clients |
| Operations / support    | Transaction search and reports                                     |
| Finance                 | Usage, invoices, license purchases                                 |
| Auditor (read-only)     | Reports and audit logs                                             |

**Security recommendations**

* Enable multi-factor authentication for all administrators.
* Use named accounts; never share credentials.
* Review administrator access every quarter and remove leavers promptly.
* Rotate API credentials and ASP certificates before expiry.
