# Remote Signing Overview

**Remote Signing (Document Signer)** lets an organisation sign documents automatically — individually or in bulk — with its own **Document Signer Certificate** held in an **eMudhra-hosted HSM**. There is no human in the loop: the organisation's application calls an API and receives signatures back.
